Dadeldhura, the headquarters of Dadeldhura district of Mahakali Zone in the FarWest Nepal is around 900kms from Kathmandu which covers an area of 1,538 km² and had a population of 142,094 in 2011. This area has a desert-mountainous landscape with many religious and historical sites. This place is on the route to Mt. Kailash in Tibet and many other trekking destinations. The language spoken here is Dotyal and the majority of inhabitants are Hindu. The district is rural but some modernization is on. Dadeldhura is the most developed district among the other hilly districts in far Western Development region.

Ugratara Temple: The Ugratara Temple is another attraction here. various worshippers come to this place of pilgrimage in the mountainous landscape. Ugratara is an avatar of goddess Durga, the goddess of Power. According to legend, she is one in all the seven divine sisters that were commanded by Lord Shiva to remain in this region. As a result, there are 7 temples to worship the Goddesses.
Amargadhi Killa/Amar Singh Fort: located at around 5 km from the resort, this place is an ancient fort designed by the legendary warrior Amar Singh Thapa also known as the Living lion of Nepal, who worked as the General of the Nepalese forces of the western front in the Anglo–Nepalese War.
Ajaymerukot: This place is the palace of the last emperor of this region and can be reached after a half day hiking through fields and villages.
Ghatal Mandir: Some 10kms from the resort, this is the only holy temple of Ghatal Baba in Nepal.
