Located in the midwestern part of Nepal, in the cragged region, there lies an attractive district called pyuthan that takes about 12 hours and just about 500 kilometers from the capital city, Kathmandu. Pyuthan Khalanga is the district’s headquarters and its largest town. Pyuthan Kalanga is located on the mountainside concerning 500 meters above the intensively cultivated field of Jhimruk Khola about fifteen kilometers north of the Mahabharat range in the Middle Hills. Besides expansive views of Jhimruk valley, there are restricted views of a few peaks within the western part of the Dhaulagiri range off to the north.
